Throwaway Literature began life as a paper ‘zine around four years ago. The first issue asked the question ‘What is Love?’ and had a variety of contributors, each with their own interpretations of the answer. Only four issues ever saw the light of day, as the daily grind of studying for a degree came between Amelia and her cut-and-paste.
Throwaway Literature is about trying to discover everything we can about the life we lead by questioning everything, even gravity. We are limited only by our perceptions and subjectivity. Every experience has the possibilty of being positive, but it’s for us to decide.
Topics covered range from turning vegan to obscure book reviews to cheeky traveller tips to help with procrastinating to advice on how to deal with moving house to our favourite biscuits to eco-warrior adventures.
